2018索达吉堪布非洲之行
Khenpo Sodargye’s African Tour in 2018
༢༠༡༨ལོར་མཁན་པོ་བསོད་དར་རྒྱས་ཨ་ཧྥེ་རི་ཀར་ཕེབས་པའི་འགྲུལ་བཞུད།
2018年9月底，索达吉堪布用15天时间出访了非洲4个国家——斯威士兰、南非、马拉维、博茨瓦纳，与不同的人群分享了佛法智慧。
At the end of September, 2018, Khenpo Sodargye started his trip to Africa. During the two weeks, he travelled to the four African countries, Eswatini, South Africa, Malawi, and Botswana, and shared the wisdom of the Buddhist Philosophy with different groups of people.

On September 21, Khenpo gave a talk entitled “Embrace Life with Love” to the teachers and volunteers who came from Singapore in Shiselweni Orphanage.

In the afternoon of September 21, Khenpo shared some of his life experiences with the children in the orphanage on how to learn and grow through hardship.

On September 22, Khenpo paid a visit to the Mbilaleni Tribe, a local tribe in Shiselweni, and gave teachings and offered donations to the people in the tribe.

In the evening of September 29, Khenpo gave a brief explanation on The 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, a famous text in Tibetan Buddhism, as well as its oral transmission, to the local Buddhist group.

On October 2, the last day of Khenpo’s African trip, he gave a speech entitled “The Buddhist Perspective in the Era of Materialism” at the Department of Theology and Religious Studies of the University of Botswana.

索达吉堪布此次出行非洲，15天去了4个国家。一共前往5个大学、2个监狱、2个孤儿院、3个非洲部落，共做了11场演讲和4场佛法开示。
Khenpo Sodargye spent 15 days on his African trip, and traveled to 4 different countries. During the trip, Khenpo visited 5 universities, 2 prisons, 2 orphanages, as well as 3 tribes, and gave 11 speeches and 4 Dharma teachings in total.
