Now it happened that the lord of Kharchen and Getso, his wife, took   counsel with their household，

and all agreed that Tsogyal should be married to no one but the king.

For they reasoned that if she were bestowed on an ordinary suitor,

Each had brought with him a caravan of three hundred horses and mules,   laden with gifts.
