莲师精要十二字咒




This is certain truth. This know and understand!

The essence of the teacher is this Guru Siddhi mantra:

HUNG: the life force of all the Buddhas, past, present, and to come;

DHI: accomplishment of all victorious yidams;

SID: the perfect action of the oath-bound and the dakinis;

MA: this cuts delusion from our mothers, wandering beings;

PAD: the supreme land of Buddhas of the triple time;

RU: this shuts the door to karmic energy;

GU: confers empowerment of compassion as the aspect of primordial Wisdom;

JRA: this is Mahamudra, the void, the indestructible;

VA: the symbol of the Wisdom-space;

HUNG: Nirmanakaya, emanated form to teach all beings;

AH: the supreme Dharma, Sambhogakaya;

OM: Kuntuzangpo, Dharmakaya, Primal Purity.


确实眞理当知解!莲师咒即师本质:

吽:过去、现在、未来三世一切诸佛的生命力量;

地:一切胜利本尊的成就;

悉:具誓者和空行母的圆满事业;

玛:断除如母流转众生的妄念烦恼;

贝:三世诸佛的无上妙土;

汝:关闭业力之门;

咕:授予本智之悲的灌顶;

札:即大手印,空而不可摧毁;

班:智慧虚空的象征;

吽:化身为了教导众生而化现的身相;

啊:殊胜正法,报身;

:普贤如来,法身,本初纯净。





These twelve essential syllables of the Guru, Lotus-Born,

If spoken in reverse one hundred thousand times,

Will purify the faults of body, speech, and mind.

Two hundred thousand times consumes the negativities committed in the triple time;

Three hundred thousand times will place you on the level whence there's no returning.

Recite it seven hundred thousand times and in this life you meet the Lotus-Born;

A million recitations and the four enlightened actions will be done;

Six million churns samsara's deep abyss;

Ten million brings equality with Buddha Amitabha—

And any siddhi needed will be doubtless won.

Know, too, that other goods unnumbered will be yours.


莲师精要十二字,

反转持诵十万次,

能净身语意过犯。

二十万竭三世恶,

三十万得不还果,

七十万即身见师,

百万次成四事业,

六百万空轮回渊,

千万次证等弥陀,

且确获诸欲悉地,

尚有无数他利益。




The normal way of recitation repels suffering and leads be-yond it.

OM: is the union in five Bodies of all Buddhas gone to bliss;

AH: distills the essence of the fivefold wisdom Speech;

HUNG: is the Suchness Body, Wisdom Mind's five aspects.

VA: is the sign and seal of indestructibility;

JRA: is deployment of the diamond-like compassion;

GU: the guru herukas of the triple time;

RU: the drop of essence that matures and liberates;

PAD: the threshold of the pure abode of bliss;

MA: is staying in the womb of bliss unmoving;

SID: is compassion in great strength and power;

Dili: is the accomplishment that satisfies all wants;

HUNG: the gaining of dominion in the primal ground.


若行寻常持诵法,

驱除痛苦超越苦:

:一切如来善逝的五身结合

啊:萃取五重智慧语(五方佛语)的精华;

吽 : 即眞如身,智慧意的五面向(五方佛意)

班 : 不可摧毁的征示和印记;

札:金刚慈悲的事业开展;

咕:三世的上师嘿鲁嘎;

汝:成熟与解脱的明点;

贝:妙乐净土的入门处;

玛:安住于不动的大乐之胎;

悉:具大力量的慈悲;

地:能满足一切所需的成就;

吽:获得本初基的掌控。




This mantra has indeed the likeness of a wishing-jewel.

And further, since the twelve dependent links thereby are purified,

It is the nature of the ten perfections,

And therefore the Great Mother.

Of every aspiration it is the fulfillment.

Thus, all of you now here, and those in times to come,

Should zealously recite this mantra.

For a time now, while your dualistic minds persist,

It will seem that I have left you, but take heart.

When your dualistic minds subside, you will see that we were never parted.

May health and happiness embrace the very limits of the sky!


此咒确同如意宝,

因净十二因缘故,

即十波罗蜜本性,

即能满愿大胜母。

故聚此与未来众,

皆当精诚持此咒。

汝分别心今尚存,

吾似离然当坚强,

分别心止时即知,

吾等实乃未分离。

愿安乐遍盈天际!




圣女离去



When she had finished speaking, an intense and powerful light shot away, darting, sparkling, dancing to the southwest. Finally it disappeared and was no more. All who were there prostrated themselves countless times and prayed. Their minds were numb with grief and their chests were tight with anguish. It seemed as if their hearts and stomachs had risen to their very throats. They could hardly see their way for tears. Staggering, their legs barely able to support their bodies, with laboring breath, they made their painful way back to the Heart Cave of Zabbu, arriving there just as night was falling.

   

措嘉言讫,一道强烈的光芒射出,闪耀飞舞,射往西南方,最后消逝无踪。在场的所有人都进行无数的礼拜和祈祷。他们的内心因悲伤而麻木,胸口因苦闷而紧绷,心和胃像是卡在喉眬般。他们泪水盈眶而看不清楚前方的路,双腿几乎支撑不了身体而蹒跚行走,气息难顺且满心悲苦地回到扎布的心洞,抵达时正好夜晚降临。




The three disciples, Be Yeshe Nyingpo, Lasum Gyalwa Changchub, and Ma Rinchen Chok, opened the mandala of the sadhana of the Guru and Dakini, and practiced it, remaining at Zabbu for seven months. They gained the realization of the inseparability of the Guru and Dakini and received many prophecies and permissions. 


贝•伊喜•宁波、拉颂•嘉华•蒋秋及玛•仁千•秋等三名弟子开启上师和空行母成就法的坛城,在扎布居住了七个月修持此法。他们证得了与上师和空行母无别之境,并得到许多授记和开许。




It was at that time that Tri Ralpachen, the king of Tibet and the defender of religion, promulgated his first decree and invited all translators to the court. It was there that certain people said that before their eyes, in the cave of Mutig Pama Gang, Tsogyal had displayed the signs of experiencing the state in which all phenomena are worn away in the nature of reality, and that she had left behind her nasal membrane, teeth, nails, and hair. These, they said, had transformed into pearl-like relics, becoming thus a support for the faith of the people. Apart from that, they said, her body had disappeared; she had attained Buddhahood. 

   

护法之藏王赤惹巴仅在那时颁布了第一道疎令,召集所有的译师入朝。在这次集会中各自述说关于措嘉尊女的般涅盘,有人说曾亲眼见到措嘉在幕提•帕玛•岗的岩洞中,展现她证得诸法竭尽的征示,并遗留下鼻膜、牙齿、指甲、头发,他们还说这些遗物化成如珍珠般的舍利,如是成为大众信心的所依物。此外,他们还说她的色身消失,已经成佛。




Again, it was said by others that, on the eighth day of the bird month in the bird year, the Lady Tsogyal bestowed teachings. On the tenth day, in the evening, she subdued demons. At midnight, she turned the wheel of the Dharma, and then remained in meditation until dawn, when she attained enlightenment. Then, as day was breaking, she sat with her body straight and passed beyond sorrow. Her physical remains transformed into a heap of tiny pearls, they said, and the king of Tibet, defender of religion, had had them brought to him and placed in a stupa.


其后又有其他人说,措嘉尊女在鸡年鸡月的初八赐予教示,在初十傍晚降伏魔众,当天子夜转法之轮,尔后入定直至黎明获得证悟。其后破晓时,她的身体直坐而入涅盘。她的身体化为一堆小珍珠。他们还说这些舍利已被送往藏地的护法王处,如今安置在一舍利塔内。








二、本期原文
