(仪式)点者以茶筅点汤,又点冷水于汤也。文公家礼曰:‘主妇执茶筅,执事者执汤瓶随之,点茶。盖以神主椟前先设盏托,至是乃注汤于盏,用茶筅点之耳。古人饮茶用末。所谓点茶者,先置末茶于器中,然后投以滚汤,点以冷水。而用茶筅调之,今人烧汤煎叶茶,而此犹云点茶者,存旧也。’
