意与功德之化身




My Mind's Mind incarnation, known as E, will come to U,

And will lead those linked with her to realms of dakinis.

To many yogis she will teach the path of liberation

Through practice on the subtle veins and energies.

意之意名误于卫,

领具缘至空行剎,

诸瑜伽士得教导,

修持气脉解脱道。





An incarnation of the Qualities of my Mind will come to Lhodrak.

Displaying different forms, she will conduct all linked to her to happiness.

In Nepal my Mind's Activity will manifest,

And many will she bring, by skillful means, to Dharma.


意之功德现洛札,

诸相引有缘至乐。

意之事业生尼国,

善巧导众入法道。




Then the pious king will come again in fivefold emanation.

The governor of Tsang will flicker like a firefly.

Palaces will be like phantom cities,

Good news like the far-off songs of Faerie.

The bad advice of experts will be honeyed poison,

And teachers of religion like a lamp that sputters and goes out.

Sputter: 发噼啪声


虔敬王有五化身,

臧省统治如萤烁,

王宫则形同鬼域

捷报似曲难闻。

权威恶言蜜衣毒,

法教师如将灭灯。





When the seats of patrons, the Horpas and the Mongols,

Touch the cushions of their teachers,

A Body incarnation of my Quality will appear, a dakini, in U.

Drolma, incarnation of my Quality's Speech, will appear in Kham.

An incarnation of my Quality's Mind will rise in Nyemo.

A teacher will appear to the north, the Quality incarnation of my Quality,

And my Quality's Activity will emanate in Tsang Rong.

They will all take different forms, endowed with wondrous powers

And various clairvoyances, leading those connected to the land of Great Felicity.


霍蒙鞑餐护法座,

与师座垫相邻时,

措嘉功德身化身,

现于卫地空行母,

功德语康地卓玛,

功德之意现聂莫,

功德之德北方师,

德之事业于臧戎。

诸相天赋妙神通,

领具缘至妙乐剎。




事业五化身



When this is passed, Tibet, both high and low, will fall in fragments.

The passes, vales, and gorges will be claimed and parceled.

Families will be recorded, and all will say, "This land belongs to me."

All wealth will be within the Horpas' land

And all will don their clothing.

Religious folk will fight, with monks to lead them;


其后上下藏地崩,

关隘峡谷遭割据,

家户册记土地分,

财富尽落霍尔土,

人皆穿戴异族服。

僧侣领徒各争斗,




The clergy will take arms, with camels as their beasts of burden;

Nuns will do the mason's work, and laity will teach religion.

Evil deeds will be the lot of little children.

Lhasa will be overthrown by water;

And hurricanes will lay waste Samye;

Trandruk will not last, and ruin fall on all four provinces.

寺庙执事取兵器,

骑乘骆驼为驮兽;

尼师反做苦力工

外行俗汉传教法。

幼童命定恶行终。

大水淹没拉萨地,

飓狂风袭废桑耶,

昌珠四省倾塌灭。




Then a Body emanation of Activity will arise in Chimphu.

My Activity's Speech will manifest in Ngari.

My Activity's Mind will come to Puwo.

The Quality of my Activity will rise in Dokham.

The Activity of my Activity will appear in U, a woman leader.

All these emanations will have various forms

And lead the endless myriads of beings to where samsara ends,

And take those linked with them to Great Felicity.

Various of my incarnations will appear in hidden lands,

Bestowing help on those endowed with fortune, and dispelling hindrances.

彼时事业五化身,

身化身于青埔现,

语化身于阿里显,

意化身临普沃地,

功德化身现多康,

事业化卫女领袖。

诸化身各异身相,

无量众轮回尽,

引具缘者至乐土。

吾亦化身众秘境,

福者得助障难除。




And so, from now until the scouring of samsara,

My stream of emanations, primary and secondary,

Will flow unceasing.

Especially to those who in the future meditate

Upon the subtle veins and energies,

I'll show myself—at best directly,

Else in visions, or at least in dreams,

Appearing as a common person, or as the secret consort.

I shall clear the obstacles of those who keep samaya,

Bringing progress to their practice,

Helping to attain with speed the blissful warmth and thence accomplishment.


故自今至轮回空,

大小化身流不断。

来世气脉修行者,

措嘉将显吾自身,

直接显现为上者,

次由净相下者梦,

吾化凡人或密伴。

为持誓者除障难,

并使彼修益增上,

速证大乐暖成就。



传记取藏九祥缘


The three biographies of me, your mother—extensive or abridged:

Hide the long one here, on Zabbu Peak;

The shortest one conceal at Lhodrak Namkhachen;

And this, of medium length, conceal in Lhorong Kham.


Concerning now the teachings of the Khandro Nyingtik,

And the two transmissions, earlier and later,

Passed down from mouth to ear,

Best it is to follow the instructions that I gave for each.

Changchub, Be, and Ma, these three endowed with fortune,

Will, in the future, be the ones to find them.


汝母广简三传记,

广版藏此扎布顶,

简版洛札•南卡千,

中版藏于洛荣•康。


至于空行心髓法,

前后口传二教授,

当依个别吾指示。

善缘蒋秋、贝与玛,

未来掘藏此三人。




This biography, indeed, has nine auspicious possibilities.

First, if one called Chowang takes it out,

Its fame and benefit will spread throughout the kingdom,

Touching those who live as far away as China.

If this chance is missed, the Treasure staying hid,

One called Trashi will appear from Lato.

If he, his hair all braided, takes it out,

U, Tsang, Kham will be the sphere of its effectiveness and benefit,

And its influence will reach the confines of Nepal.

If this chance is missed, the Treasure staying hid,

One called Dorje, but renowned as Pawo, 

Will appear to south of Lhorong's snowy mountains.


此传取藏九祥缘:

若由确旺先掘取,

声名利益遍全国,

此传远扬至汉地。

若失此机仍隐示,

拉特一名札西者,

满头发瓣可取出,

效益遍及卫藏康,

尼国边界影响达。

若失此机仍隐示,

洛荣雪山南多杰,

将以帕沃名著称,




If he takes it, it will be renowned in Dokham,

Touching those, at last, as far away as Hor.

If the chance is missed once more, a yogi by the name of Radza

Will arrive from Shampo: he too will have power to take it.

Or else a certain Dorje, inhabitant of Puwo,

Or a man named Kunga from the east can take it.

The benefit, each time, will be decreased by half.

If even they do not discover it, a final opportunity remains.


若彼取出则此传,

扬名多康达霍尔。

若失此机仍隐示,

香波惹匝瑜伽士,

彼亦具取此藏力;

或为普沃某多杰,

或为东部贡嗅男。

各次利益渐减半。

若此六人皆未取,




Three women will unearth it, or it will appear of itself.

If so it is, the region of its finding will be all its field of influence.

Then in future, when the nine predicted children

Will gather at a single time, the teachings will unfold and spread.


终有三女或自显,

然影响仅限掘处。

未来九名授记子,

相聚同一世代时,

教法彰显将传播。



Then in time to come,

Five hundred periods multiplied by five, 

There will be a place called Kathog, to the east of here,

The place of teaching of the Guru Senge Dradok

And hallowed by the Lotus-Born by thirteen consecrations.

The mountain there, formed like a haughty lion,

Has Treasures hidden in its "throat" of great profundity.

In time to come, when circumstance is ripe,

The Lotus Guru and his consort's work for beings will pervade this region.

consecrations:供献,奉献,献祭仪式

   

往后五乘五百时,

此处东方陀处,

狮吼上师传法地,

莲师十三次加持。

山峦形如高贵狮,

喉部甚深伏藏具,

因缘成熟时刻至,

莲师与明妃于此事业盛

 



There, I, Tsogyal, will arise as Dampa Gyaltsen,

And the Ati teaching of the Secret Mantra will abide there till the end.

Though it will decline from time to time,

The karmically endowed will step by step arise.

Tsogyal's last disciples will appear and dwell there.

All this counsel and instruction have I now bequeathed to you,

No further means is there for Tsogyal to remain.

So hasten now to prayer and meditation.

Disciples gathered here and all in time to come,

Take to your hearts my words of prophecy and teaching!

bequeath: 将(知识等)传给(后人)

 

当巴嘉晨吾化现,

密乘阿底法恒驻。

纵然此法间或衰,

具业缘者渐增长,

措嘉最后弟子众,

将现彼处并安住。 

劝言指示已尽留,

今难再留措嘉驻。

当速祈祷与禅修,

此处、未来弟子众,

牢记授记吾开示!

 





二、本期原文

My Mind's Mind incarnation, known as E, will come to U,
