"The   Master of Orgyen appeared to me in the form of aheruka. He gave me a skull   cup filled with beer to drink, and then he disappeared. My experience became   continuous and stable: the bliss was truly blissful, the warmth was truly   warm, and I was filled with happiness. My body, which beforehand had been   completely frozen, was transfigured through and through, like a snake   sloughing off its skin. Whereupon I thought that the time had come for the   austerity of the bone ornaments. And so, taking off the cotton cloth and   donningthe ornaments of bone, I practiced for one year the austerity called   the Union of the Three Pith Instructions. At that time, I had not even   a single barley seed left, and so I performed my meditation taking stones and   water for my food and drink. After some time, my previous experiences   declined, along with my realization. My legs could no longer support the   weight of my body. I could not lift my head, and I had difficulty in breathing   from my nose and mouth. My mind, too, grew very feeble. Gradually my   condition worsened, so that in the end Iwas on the brink of death.


"And so I   prayed to the Teacher. I cried in distress to the yidam and visualized a   constant flow of offerings to the dakinis, saying:

From the first   I gave my body to the Guru,

Come joy or   sorrow, Lord,

I trust myself   to you!

From the first   my speech was given to the Dharma,

However, Lord,  

I breathe,

I trust myself   to you!

From the first   my mind was roused to virtue,

Come virtue,   Lord, or vice,

I trust myself   to you!

From the   first, my form has been the yidam's mansion,

Whatever may   befall this dwelling, Lord,

I trust myself   to you!

From the first,   the winds and channels are the pathsof dakinis,

Whatever they   may do with them,

I trust myself   to you!

From the   first, this essence-drop is nature of the Buddhas

Gone to Bliss,

Whether   resting in the peace beyond all sorrow,

Or turning in   samsara's round.

Look upon all   mother sentient beings wanderingin delusion!

Whether I   should rest or turn,

Your word for   me, your daughter, will decide.

My experience   became continuous and stable: the bliss was truly blissful, the warmth was   truly warm, and I was filled with happiness.


我的觉受变得持续不断,并且非常稳定,有眞正令人大乐的大乐,以及眞正使人暖热的暖暖,而且我充满了喜乐。




My body, which   beforehand had been completely frozen, was transfigured through and through,   like a snake sloughing off its skin. Whereupon I thought that the time had   come for the austerity of the bone ornaments.

transfigure:(使)改容换貌;(使)容光焕发;美化 To be transfigured means to be changed into   something great or beautiful.

在此之前完全冻伤的身体,此时就如蛇蜕皮一般一再蜕变。我认为修行骨饰苦行的时机已然成熟,




And so, taking   off the cotton cloth and donning the ornaments of bone, I practiced for one   year the austerity called the Union of the Three Pith Instructions.


于是褪去棉衣,戴上骨饰,用一年的时间修持名为《三诀合一》的苦行。




At that time, I had   not even a single barley seed left, and so I performed my meditation taking   stones and water for my food and drink.


那个时候,我连一粒青稞子都不剩,便以石头和水作为飮食,如此进行禅修。



觉受消失



After some time,   my previous experiences declined, along with my realization. My legs could no   longer support the weight of my body. I could not lift my head, and I had   difficulty in breathing from my nose and mouth.

过了一段时间,我先前的觉受退失,所得的了悟亦然。我的双腿再也无法支撑身躯,头也无法抬起,连用口鼻呼吸都感到困难,




My mind, too,   grew very feeble. Gradually my condition worsened, so that in the end I was   on the brink of death.


心也变得非常虚弱。我的状态越来越糟,直到最终濒临死亡的边缘。


绝望中的呼唤

"And so I   prayed to the Teacher. I cried in distress to the yidam and visualized a   constant flow of offerings to the dakinis, saying:

「因此我向上师祈请。我在绝望中呼唤本尊,观想毫不止息的供养,并献给空行,说道:


From the first I   gave my body to the Guru,

Come joy or   sorrow, Lord,

I trust myself   to you!

I trust myself   to you!


从一开始,我的身就已献予上师,

无论喜乐或痛苦,尊主,

我将自己托付给您!

从一开始,我的语就已献予佛法,

无论我如何呼吸,尊主,

我将自己托付给您!



祈赐加持

From the first   my mind was roused to virtue,

Come virtue,   Lord, or vice,

I trust myself   to you!

From the first,   my form has been the yidam's mansion,

Whatever may   befall this dwelling, Lord,

I trust myself   to you!



从一开始,我的意就因善德奋起,

无论顺缘或逆境,尊主,

我将自己托付给您!

从一开始,我的形体就一直是本尊的圣宫,

不论是何降临于此住所,

尊主,我将自己托付给您!



From the first,   the winds and channels are the paths of dakinis,

Whatever they   may do with them,

I trust myself   to you!


从一开始,我的气、脉就是空行母的道途,

无论她们如何使用气、 脉,

尊主我将自己托付给您!


From the first,   this essence-drop is nature of the Buddhas Gone to Bliss,

Whether resting   in the peace beyond all sorrow,

Or turning in   samsara's round.

   

从一开始,无论是在超越诸苦的寂静中安住,

或是在轮回中流转。

这个明点就是善逝诸佛的自性。

   



Look upon all   mother sentient beings wandering in delusion!

Whether I should   rest or turn,

Your word for   me, your daughter, will decide.

   

请眷顾所有徘徊于迷妄中的如母有情众生!我应停歇抑或流转,

请为您这个女儿说出决定的话语。
