增上善根的菩提心

SECTION 11. The Bodhichitta with Ever-Growing Virtuous Roots

珍宝菩提心有愿菩提心和行菩提心两种。

This precious bodhichitta is of two types: aspiration bodhichitta and action bodhichitta.

了知它们的功德差别，按照仪轨于各自相续中得受菩萨戒，是非常重要的。

It is of foremost importance to understand the difference between their benefits and take the bodhisattva vow according to the liturgy.

一旦相续中生起这样的菩提心，善根就会连续不断产生。

Once bodhichitta arises in one’s mindstream, the virtuous roots will ceaselessly grow.

关于这一道理，《入菩萨行论》中也说：

This principle has also been said in The Bodhisattva’s Way of Life:

“即自彼时起，纵眠或放逸，福德相续生，量多等虚空。”

From that time hence, even while asleep or unconcerned, a force of merit equal to the sky will perpetually ensue.
