She placed the seal of secrecy on her teachings and proceeded to open for her eleven root disciples the mandala of Dzogchen Ati, giving them her last oral transmission: the hundred pith instructions, the heart of everything. And in that very instant, all her disciples attained liberation.


她在教法上封下秘印,接着为这十一名根本弟子开启《大圆满》的坛城,给予他们最后的口传:亦即一百种精要指示,此为一切的心髓。就在那个当下,她所有的弟子皆证得解脱。





Lady Tsogyal then went to stay in the upper cave of Pama Gang, and there, on her two hundred and eleventh birthday, the third of the bird month, she announced that five days later, on the eighth, they would go to the summit of Zabbu Mountain. They would go to see a great wonder, she said. Zangdok Pelri itself was there, the Copper-Colored Mountain.


其后,措嘉尊女离开前去帕玛•岗的上岩洞,在此住下。就在那里,当她两百一十一岁生鸡月三日时,她宣布于五天后的初八日,他们要前往扎布山的顶峰,到那里观看一个大神迹。藏兜.佩日,即铜色山,会在那里出现。




And so, with a retinue of eleven of her most fortunate disciples, and in the company of about fifty other followers, she made her way to the peak of Zabbu.

On the seventh day of the month, she reached a cave shaped like the mudra of folded hands, situated about halfway up the mountain. There she stayed and gave to her followers all the pith instructions of the twenty-five sections of Dharma. This done, she made a vast ganachakra feast offering, according to the sadhana upon the Guru.


她于初七来到半山腰一个形如合掌手印的岩穴,在那里授予弟子们佛法二十五部的所有精要指示。完成之后,依据上师成就法的仪轨做了一次盛大的荟供。

And then, with all her disciples gathered before her, the Lady spoke and said: "Impermancnce is an essential characteristic of living beings." Thereupon, Trashi Chidren offered a mandala of gold and made this plea:

Mother, Lady, full of grace and love,

Alone the mother of all beings in the triple world,

If you no longer guard your children,

Only those who know to feed themselves will manage to survive.

How shall pink-mouthed, toothless babes not perish?

Perish:[单独使用的动词] (literary) (of people or animals 人或动物) to die, especially in a sudden violent way 死亡;暴死

   

此时,所有的弟子都聚集在她跟前,尊女说道:「无常是一切生者的根本特性。」于是,札西•祁珍供养一个黄金曼达,做出如下请愿:

大恩大爱母亲尊,

三界众生唯一母,

若汝不复护诸儿,

唯觅食者方能活,

无牙稚婴岂不夭?

 



You, the great, the golden ornament of heaven,

If you no longer drive away the gloom of beings' minds,

Only those who have the wisdom eye will find their way,

While those with normal sight will fall into the depths.

Ah, true regent of the Buddha!

If you no longer nurture Hearers of the Doctrine,

Only noble Arhats will survive.

But who will be the shield of untaught shavelings?

Shaveling:剃光头发的人,和尚,少年


天界黄金庄严圣,

若汝不复除心暗,

唯智眼者方不迷,

具凡视者落深渊。

佛陀确实摄政人,

若不复育声闻众,

仅罗汉圣得存俱,

未受教僧谁堪护?




Dakini melodious with Brahma's voice,

If you no longer guard us here before you,

Only scholars and translators—only the accomplished ones will manage.

But who will be the guide of countless beings?


梵天妙音空行母,

若不复引聚此众,

学者译师方知理,

无量众生何人导?




Kyema,

Lady, mother of accomplishments,

Look still with pity on your followers.

Bestow, I pray, the nectar of your words

Upon us, kindred, gathered here together.


嗟玛!

哀哉尊女成就母,

祈悲怜汝追随众,

乞赐汝之语甘露,

授予聚此众眷等。




开示佛法至关要点



And speaking thus, she made many prostrations. The Lady replied and said:

Kyema!

Listen, girl of Mon, my faithful one!

I, your Lady Tsogyal, have without regret or weariness,

Labored for the benefit of beings.

All Tibet is now beneath the shield of Dharma.

Many years, two hundred and eleven, now have passed.

The sum of those who might be taught by me is now fulfilled;

No further means is there for my remaining.

And just as at the death of everyone, it's hard to stay!

But I will leave a few words for my testament.

   

言毕,祁珍做了多次礼拜。尊女回答道:

嗟玛!

忠实门地女谛听,

无憾无倦措嘉女,

辛勤利生已然行,

全藏皆受法所护。

两百一十一载逝,

堪教众已尽教导,

别无他法令吾驻,

如众临死难再留。

然吾将留些遗示。

 



Brothers, sisters, gathered here, listen!

Past counting are the members of the human race,

But those who have embraced the Doctrinemay indeed be numbered.

Still fewer are the ones who practice truly,

And those who win attainment are like stars at daytime,

While Buddhahood lies scarcely in the realms of possibility.


Thus, in few words, give yourselves to Dharma.

The ways to enter Dharma number four and eighty thousand—

A boundless quantity, but all may yet be gathered

In the system of nine vehicles.


Their pinnacle is Ati, which, divided threefold,

Has a single sense, distilled in one supreme instruction:

View, Meditation, Action, these three and their Result.

View is freedom from the mind's analysis and fixing,

Meditation is the savoring of uncontrived simplicity,

Action is defined as undistracted ease:

As Fruit you will perfect the Triple Kayas' strength.


聚此手足众谛听!

人身数目繁难数,

心向法者寡能列,

眞实修行益稀少,

得证者如昼星辰,

诸界成佛量甚微。


当将汝身献佛法,

八万四千皆法门,

数量无穷然皆属,

九乘教法体系内。

至高阿底分三部,

其义尽摄此胜教:

即见修行与其果。

见即离思不固着,

修即无作离戏味,

行即无散自在安,

果即圆满三身力。




These then are the crucial points of Dharma:

Let your outward conduct be attuned to the Vinaya;

Impurities and faults will naturally decrease.

Let inner training be according to the Sutra;

Merit naturally will multiply, reflecting thus its cause.

Let philosophic tenets harmonize with Abhidharma;

Uncertainty and misconception will be settled naturally.

For these three principles comprise the ground of Dharma;

The Doctrine cannot be upheld without them.


此为佛法至关键:

外在行止依律藏

不净过犯自然少,

内在修为循经藏

功德自随发心盛,

义理则当合论藏

怀疑误解自然息。

佛法根基三藏也,

无此三根法难树。




Purify yourselves in tune with Kriya scriptures;

The stains of ingrained habits will be thereby cleansed.

Train your minds according to Ubhaya texts

And of itself will skill in Dharma come to you.

Let your View be practiced in accord with Yoga texts;

The blessings of compassion will pervade you naturally.

With Mahayogatread the stages of approach and of accomplishment;

And naturally, View, Meditation, Action—all will dawn.

With Anuyoga, practice on the subtle veins and energy;

Power and attainment you will naturally achieve.

With Ati purify the essence-drop

And in a twinkling will Buddhahood be gained.

Aside from this, you need no other teaching.

All you who follow me who am your mother,

Rely on what, throughout her life, your mother practiced.

For this is how to gain the twofold goal.


事部典行净化,

积习垢染得清除。

行部典修自心,

善巧精熟于佛法。

瑜伽部修见地,

慈悲加持自然盈。

依玛哈者圆近修,

见修行皆自然生。

依阿努者修气脉,

力量成就自然得。

依阿底者净明点,

转瞬即能成佛果。

除此毋需他法教。

汝等追随母亲吾,

当信依吾毕生修,

此即自他二利法
