They invited her   inside and offered her a splendid feast. Then the mistress of the house spoke   up.

他们邀请她进屋，供养她一席丰盛的飨宴，随后屋子的女主人说：

"When you   have bought this Indian boy," she said, "what will you do? Marry   him? To be sure, you are a lovely girl and are of good family besides.   Therefore, if you seek a husband, stay here with this son of mine."

"My Guru   Padma," the Lady Tsogyal replied, "has foretold that this Atsara,   this Indian, is someone very necessary to me. I have gold for his ransom and   I must have him, come what may."

「我的莲花上师， 」措嘉尊女回答道， 「曾经预言说这个阿擦惹，这个印度人，对我来说是非常必要的人。我有黄金作为他的赎金，无论代价为何，我都必须得到他。」

"Well, how   much money do you have?" asked the woman."When I bought him, I paid   five hundred ounces of gold, and I want more than that now."

「那么，妳有多少钱财呢？」女主人问道， 「当我买下他的时候，可是付了五百单位的黄金，现在我的要价可比那还高。」

Lady Tsogyal   said: "I will give you all the gold you want, for he is indispensable to   me."

措嘉尊女说：「我会支付妳想要的所有黄金，因为他对我而言，是不可或缺的。」

Then she began   to measure her gold dust, but found that she scarcely had one hundred ounces,   let alone five.

接着，措嘉就开始秤量她的金沙，但是却发现，莫说五百单位，她所有的黄金仅仅将近一百单位。
