没钱就去当乞丐

SECTION 15. It’s Better to Go Begging if You Have No Money

说到僧财，一般是件非常麻烦的事。

It is always a headache to discuss the properties of the Sangha.

佛陀讲过：“具戒解脱行者我开许，未守护者丝毫不开许。”

The Buddha once said: “For those practitioners who keep pure precepts and have attained liberation, I give them permission (to accept offerings); for those who do not protect their precepts, I will not allow them to accept even the slightest amount of (offerings).”

意思是说，如果是具足戒律的人、在此基础上通过修行使相续解脱的人，可以开许享用信财，但不是人人都有这个资格的。

It is pointed out that if a person has pure precepts, and on top of that has also liberated his mindstream through practice, only then is he allowed to enjoy offerings — so not everyone is qualified to accept offerings.

尽管不具备清净戒律及解脱的功德，但就像人们常说“经忏师的本事在嘴上”一样，我们在接受信财时，口中还是要认认真真地诵经回向。

If one does not possess pure precepts or the quality of liberation yet has to survive on offerings, one should nevertheless attentively chant dedication prayers to benefactors because, as it is widely said: “The capability of a monk who does ceremonies is all about his mouth.”

包括分念经钱在内，这些问题都需要严谨。

It is very necessary to handle these matters cautiously, including allotting the offerings received in the Prayer Offering Center.

说这些也是为了你们，对我一个人来讲，这是无关紧要的事。

It is for you guys that I am bringing this up; if it were just for myself alone, it would not be an issue.

假如你没有参加念经，却同样领一份信财，甚至拿了两份三份等，这是在造许多大劫不能从无间地狱解脱的业。

If you have not participated in the chanting but have received a portion of the offering, or even two, three, or more portions, it is equal to committing the karma that could keep you in the unintermittent hell for many great eons.

千万不要这样！

So never, ever do this!

如果没钱，去乞讨也比这要好得多。

If you have no money, it is far better to become a beggar than to take offerings that you are not supposed to have.

提到乞丐，米拉日巴应该是带头人。

When talking about beggars, Jetsun Milarepa was a role model.

乞丐去乞讨是正常的，谁也不会说什么。

It is reasonable for a beggar to go begging; nobody is going to criticize that.
